Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How do I correctly measure for the custom outdoor bench cushions, especially for tight spaces?
A: Always measure the exact dimensions of your base or furniture frame. If your custom outdoor bench cushions will be placed between walls or hard surfaces (such as a window seat or RV nook), we recommend deducting 1/4 to 1/2 inch from the total width and depth. This ensures a comfortable fit and leaves enough room for the fabric and any slight manufacturing variations. For more detailed instructions, please refer to our Measuring Guide.
Q: How thick should the custom outdoor bench cushions be, and will it bottom out over time?
A: For optimal comfort, the custom outdoor bench cushions is typically 2 to 5 inches thick. To prevent “bottoming out”, we use premium 45-density high-resilience foam that provides superior support and shape retention, even with daily use. The ideal thickness depends on your base height: standard seating should reach a total height of 18-20 inches from the floor.
Q: How do I choose the right fabric, and can the custom outdoor bench cushions be washed?
A: For high-wear or outdoor environments, we recommend performance fabrics like Sunbrella that are incredibly durable and fade-resistant. For indoor comfort, velvet or linen blends are excellent choices. Most of our custom outdoor bench cushionss feature a hidden zipper. Removable covers can be gently machine or hand-washed. Always air dry to maintain the fabric’s integrity.
Q: What is the difference between edge styles, and does piping change the final size?
A: A Boxed Edge gives a structured, modern look with straight side panels, perfect for thicker cushions. A Knife Edge creates a softer, more tapered finish. Adding piping (welting) highlights the cushion’s shape and provides tailored elegance. Please note that edge styles and piping are purely decorative and do not change the overall final dimensions you provide.
Q: How do you ship extra-long or oversized custom outdoor bench cushionss?
A: To ensure your custom outdoor bench cushions arrives safely and shipping remains cost-effective, oversized items may be carefully vacuum-sealed or gently folded. Upon unpacking, please allow 48-72 hours for the high-density foam to fully expand and for any minor shipping creases in the fabric to naturally relax.

The bench cushion arrived in perfect condition. The measurements were 100% accurate. The bench cushion is beautifully made – the finishing details (piping, zipper, and straps) are great. Would definitely buy from Rofielty again.
I ordered this custom cushion because the outdoor couch I bought had a very low back. I ordered a new cushion about 6 inches taller. This cushion was delivered pretty fast, and I was surprised by the quality. At the price, I took a chance, not expecting this kind of quality. This new cushion is beautiful, it’s made of top quality materials and more than I expected…

S¨²per contenta, me ha encantado, el cojin hecho a medida para mi descalzador. Y el trato genial desde primer momento sin duda volver¨¦ a comprar. Recomendable 100%
I rarely leave reviews but after debating ordering these cushions for window seats I feel like I should share to help others. They came perfect in sizing, and seem to be of high quality! I did 4 inch thickness on both. Very pleased with the price and the cushions.
10 Stars if I could. I just got this custom cushion today and amazed and delighted do not even cover how happy I am with this. I received the communication from the company right away to confirm my measurements and I agreed that they were correct. I was WRONG. I notified the company again and they modified the measurements for me at no additional charge (I did let them know within a couple of hours that I had made a mistake). It would have been appropriate for them to charge me as this was my error. The finished product is some of the best I¡¯ve experienced in a long time. The quality, the workmanship, the attention to details (like hiding the zipper pull, I¡¯ve never seen that before) was incredible. I was very pleased with the color match from the design choices offered. I immediately took it out of the sealed bag and it puffed up at once. I will definitely use this vendor again should I need any future custom pillows or seats. Thank you for making it super easy to work with this company!!!! Use them, you will not be disappointed.
